1970 MGB ROADSTER MK2
A well presented MGB Mk2 roadster with overdrive in red with complimentary black interior trim.
Built at Zetland in Sydney in April 1970, this is a desirable chrome bumper Mk2 with overdrive, just about the best combination of MGB.
Powered by a 1.8Lt 4 cylinder engine, it produced when new 70Kw and 145Nm of power and torque, delivered to the rear wheels via a 4 speed manual gearbox plus overdrive on 3rd and 4th gear. Classic performance figures are 0-100kph in 11.8 secs and a top just over 160kph.
MG is a name synonymous with classic English sports cars and racing heritage from 1930s to the 1960s. Here is a car you can enjoy on classic car events and tours and with the eligibility of Historic or Club registration which makes on road costs minimal.
