This is a very well presented and early Mk1 MGB roadster in Red with black seats and complimentary red piping.

Early Mk1 MGB’s are becoming very collectable and especially in this condition. This example features chrome wire wheels, a new double duck hood and near new tonneau cover. It also comes with it’s original steering wheel as well as a Motalita wood rim steering wheel if required. A feature of the new soft top is a zip fastened rear window to allow just another mode of cooler classic driving.

Powered by a 1.8Lt 4 cylinder B series BMC engine, it produced when new 70Kw and 145Nm of power and torque, driving through the 4 speed manual gearbox and delivering 0-100kph in 11.8 secs and a top speed just over 160kph.

Until the Mazda MX5 came along, the MGB was the biggest selling sports car of all time. The B concept is nearly 60 years old and rides on the shoulders of MG’s long and famous years of building exciting sporting and racing cars.
