Delivered new by Autohaus Porsche in Perth WA on the 29th of March 1989, it presents in Black with Bone coloured leather interior trim.
The service book shows early service history at Porsche Centres and then more recently at one of Adelaide’s leading Porsche workshops on the 12th of May 2021 at 80,830kms. Very few kms done since that last service. In the current SA ownership for over 20 years.
Powered by a 3.2 litre 6 cylinder engine, it produced when new 159Kw and 265Nm of power and torque, delivered to the rear wheels via a 5 speed manual gearbox. Performance quoted at the time was 0-100kph in 6.3 secs and a top speed near 240kph. Top up or down, a great Porsche to enjoy regardless of the weather.
This example features Porsche supplied wide body panels that have been fitted at some stage after it was new, plus after market Borbet alloy wheels (front 8.5″ x 17″ & rear 10″ x 17″) which give it quite a different exterior appearance. Another option added to this car is the removal of the rear two seats and replaced with a Porsche supplied luggage shelf with two lockable areas beneath, a great option for two adults touring!
