This vehicle has undergone quite a transformation, we hold many receipts and documents from Plowman Restorations P/l of Lonsdale SA. It is now Acapulco Blue Metallic and Off White interior trim.
Powered by a 390ci ( 6.3Lt) V8 engine, it produced when new 238.5Kw and 579Nm of power and torque, delivered to the rear wheels via a 3 speed Cruise-O-Matic transmission. Performance figures suggest 0-100kph in 6.0 secs and a top speed near 200kph.
The car is now fitted with a 4 speed manual transmission with a Hurst Shifter and after engine work by Plowman Restorations, current performance figures may vary from those quoted above.
Certainly a classic Mustang Fastback with a lot of presence and would make a great vehicle to use for car club events, show and shines or a cruise to your favourite destination.
Currently on the owner’s Historic registration in South Australia which is non transferrable, it would be eligible for similar schemes in other jurisdictions, meaning minimal on road costs.
