Powered by a 440ci (7.2Lt) V8 engine, it produced when new 279.5Kw and 654Nm of power and torque, delivered to the rear wheels via a 4 speed manual gearbox with a Hurst Pistol Grip shifter. Performance was amazing for 1970 and still is, suggesting 0-100kph in 5.6 secs and a top speed near 200kph.

This engine has had some minor modifications and sports a MoPar Performance aluminium inlet manifold which saves about 15kg
from the cast-iron production item & has better airflow together with a Holley Mech Secondary (Double-pumper) carburettor.

These modifications may help the above performance figures!
