Number 979 of just 1948 built and one of only 28 delivered to owners in Australia. The production of 1948 examples honours the year the first car was built bearing the Porsche name.
One owner and delivered new by the Porsche Centre Adelaide in February 2020.
A perfect service history, with the only service completed by the delivering dealer on the 2nd of December 2021.
Factory warranty is current until the 25th of February 2023. This warranty can also be extended for several years via the various Porsche Centres around Australia.
The Speedster model comes with significant Porsche history, starting with the magnificent 356 Speedster model released in the early 1950s, followed by the G Series Speedster of the 80s, both now highly collectable. There is no reason to doubt that this limited number 991 model Speedster will be highly collectable too in the future.
Powered by a 4.0 Litre 6 cylinder engine, it produces a very healthy 375Kw and 470Nm of power and torque, delivered to the rear wheels via a 6 speed manual gearbox. Performance quoted at the release suggests 0-100kph in 3.9 secs and a top speed near 310kph, where permissible!
