In May 2008, Aston Martin announced new technological updates for the Vantage, which included changes to the engine, transmission, suspension and appearance. New cylinder liners that were now pressed into the aluminium block instead of the original cast-in variants allow a thinner liner, which in turn allows a larger capacity of 4.7 Litres. Total capacity now stands at 4,735cc and also includes modification to the dry sump lubrication system.
Driving through a six speed manual gearbox, you have 313Kw and 470Nm of power and torque to enjoy on the road, together with the magnificent sound of that V8 in your ears. Performance figures for this updated model include 0-100kph in just 4.4 secs and a top speed near 290kph where allowed.
