2005 HOLDEN MONARO VZ CV8 Z COUPE – 8347 KMS

When Holden revealed its Monaro concept at the 1998 Sydney Motor Show, the car received overwhelming enthusiasm. So much so that, by 2001, Holden re-birthed the nameplate as a fully-fledged production model. Initially, the car was available in two guises; the CV6, which was powered by a supercharged six-cylinder, and the CV8 which sported a much more powerful V8 engine.

This remarkably original and low mileage CV8 Z presents beautifully in the hero colour of Fusion Orange with complimentary orange and dark grey leather interior trim. It represents the last model of a now highly collectable line of Monaro’s, first released in Australia in 1968 and made famous on the race track by Norm Beechey.

Powered by a 5.7 Litre V8 engine, it produces 260Kw and 500Nm of power and torque, delivered to the rear wheels via a 4 speed automatic transmission. Performance was very lively at 0-100kph in 5.4 secs and a top speed near 275kph.

Quite a rarity now with such low kms, it will certainly please any collector.
