Early servicing done by the delivering dealer, now under South Australian ownership, the most recent service and engine attention completed by Stepney Auto Repairs of Stepney Adelaide on the 3rd of December 2024 at 83,516kms.
Powered by a 1.8-litre 4-cylinder Rover K-Series engine, this delivers 88 kW and 165 Nm of power and torque. The lightweight chassis, combined with a 5-speed manual gearbox, propels the Elise from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.7 seconds, with a top speed approaching 202 km/h. Renowned for its agile handling and pure driving experience, this classic roadster embodies the spirit of true British motoring.
The present owner tells us retrimming of the interior was done a few years ago at a considerable expense together with a new audio sound system with MP3, Apple Car Play, Android ability and Bluetooth/USB connections, to bring the whole cabin to a very updated feel.
A new after market exhaust system and an upgraded air intake have been fitted to add to the sound and performance of the car. After a recent dyno tune, we expect the above figures may well be slightly improved. Window tinting has recently been added which comes with a 5 year warranty.
