1995 MGR V8 ROADSTER – MANUAL

Presenting in Woodcote Green Metallic with Stone beige leather interior trim.

An import from Japan, so all paperwork and books are in Japanese. Importation into Australia occurred in early 2010 and Australian compliance is dated June 2010.

In the early 90’s the brand MG was owned by UK’s Rover Group and in that period they re invented the MGB, placed a 3.9 Litre Rover V8 engine in it and called it the MGR V8. Between 1993 and 1995, some 2,000 units were built, of which about 75% were sent to Japan.

The Japanese deliveries all had air conditioning fitted at the factory, which was essential for that market and now very suited to our climate.

The current South Australian owner who lives in rural SA, has completed the servicing since the car has been in Australia, a record has been kept of that work at the rear of the handbook reprint in English.

Powered by a 3.9 Litre Rover V8 engine, it produced at the time of release 140Kw and 317Nm of power and torque, delivered to the rear wheels via a 5 speed manual gearbox. Performance claims suggest 0-100kph in 6.4 secs and a top speed near 220kph.

A modern classic following on the fine MG heritage and a great car to drive top up or down.
