Early services completed by the delivering dealer and then Porsche specialists in Sydney and now in South Australia.
One of just 19 cars made available for the Australian market this car will suit the most discerning enthusiast and collector. There were only 1538 examples produced globally between 1992 & 1995.
Following on from the 924 & 944 success both in production and motorsport, the 1990’s saw the last incarnation of the inline, 4 cylinder models – the Porsche 968.
For the 1993 Model Year, Porsche introduced a Club Sport version, tailor made for the driving enthusiast to excel on the racetrack and be competitive in motorsport. Striking in appearance, Club Sports were made available with colour coded wheels, race seats and “Club Sport” side Decals.
Powered by a 3.0 Litre 4 cylinder engine, it produced when new 176.5Kw and 305Nm of power and torque, delivered to the rear wheels via a 6 speed manual gearbox. Performance claimed at the time of release was 0-100kph in 5.9 seconds and a top speed near 250kph.
