1994 PORSCHE 911 CARRERA COUPE TIPTRONIC AUTOMATIC
I know a bit about these as I attended the release in Spain in 1993.
What a great car to drive – the 993 version of the the 911 was a leap ahead for Porsche – the new multi link rear suspension delivered a real handling improvement, hydraulic tappets made servicing less time consuming, bonded front and rear windscreens added to the torsional rigidity of the body and the new shape was a winner.
Whilst the manual transmission went to 6 speed, the 4 speed Tiptronic was a reliable and responsive Porsche-developed unit which provided a smooth easy to use transmission around town yet proved involving and responsive when driving at speed.
The exterior colour is Aventurine green metallic (a grey-green) with the very rare full leather tan interior.
Delivered new by Porsche Centre Melbourne with both owner’s manual and service book.
