1993 NISSAN SKYLINE R32 GTR COUPE
Presenting in Metallic Grey with grey fabric interior trim, this R32 GTR was built and delivered new in Japan in 1993 and was imported to Adelaide in 2016 by Tokyo Prestige of Mt Barker SA.
The current owner has given the car to us to sell on his behalf.
We hold the original Japanese issued books that came with the car, showing a considerable history of attention. It's all in Japanese, which is great if you can read it! If you can't, someone has translated it into English so you can absorb the attention given to the car.
Powered by a 2.6 Litre 6 cylinder turbo engine, it produced when new 206Kw and 353Nm of power and torque, delivered to all wheels via a 5 speed manual gearbox. Performance was quoted at 0-100kph in 4.7 secs and a top speed near 250kph.
This variety of Nissan became famous in Australia in the hands of Jim Richards at Bathurst and was affectionately known as "Godzilla", namely because of what it was able to do to it's competition, ie eat them alive!
The present owner has supplied the following information about his car:-
"I bought it in September 2018 I was the second Australian owner, I think I have only put about 4000 kms on the car since I had the car, it spent most of its life under a cover in the shed.
The car is completely original except for the cd player, alarm system and Nismo speedo , there is a certificate with the books that shows the speedo was changed at 20,009 kms. The certificate is attached, I had to google translate it to work out what it was.
Since I have had the car, I have replaced a few things that weren’t up to scratch. The clock for one, replaced with another genuine part, clocks on these all die at some stage. The dash was replaced with one with no bubbles. I also replaced the rear reversing lights as they were cracked.
The alarm system that was installed in the car has been hooked into the central locking so now the car has remote central locking, which is really convenient. The cd player has a 6 stacker in the boot. I don’t know the history of this but it is right for the period. There is a controller for this in the glove box, there are instructions on the controller. To play cd’s you need to tune the station listed on the controller and as it is an early model cd player it doesn’t play mp3 formatted cd’s. "
A very nice example of the GTR, now a car with quite a reputation for outstanding performance and agility.
