1991 AC COBRA RECREATION

This example presents in Grey with two wide silver stripes and black fabric interior trim.

An early AC Cobra recreation, built in Western Australia in the early 90’s on a modified Toyota Crown chassis.

It is thought to be one of the first AC Cobra recreations to be registered in Australia.

Body kit was made by a company called Boomerang and it is understood they first started body kits in 1985.

The engine is a (5.7Lt) 351ci Ford Cleveland unit with a slightly warm camshaft, transmission is C4 and the rear end is a 9 inch with 4.5.5 gears. The engine was rebuilt by the original owner in 2010, just before it was sold to its present owner in South Australia.

Performance figures are not available, but needless to say, a high performing classic looking sportscar with amazing power to weight ratio, is bound to excite the driver.
