1982 PORSCHE KREMER 930 TURBO (MY83)
Delivered new by Hamiltons of South Yarra Melbourne on the 11th of March 1983, this vehicle presents beautifully in Meteor Grey Metallic paint work and black leather trim. The Kremer performance kit was fitted by Hamiltons prior to delivery.
Based in Cologne, Germany, brothers Erwin and Manfred Kremer applied their love and knowledge of motor sports to establish a racing team and garage focused on preparing Porsches for competition. Founded in 1962, Kremer Racing would go on to play an integral role in Porsche’s triumphant motor sport’s history—both independently and on occasion, as a factory-backed team. Success with the 934 and 935 race cars attracted a lot of customer interest in a road going version, hence the 930 was created and the Kremer Brothers continued with further developments.
Based on the standard 930 3.3 Litre engine producing 220Kw and 432Nm of power and torque, the Kremer kit involves uprated intercooler and waste gate to further enhance performance. Standard 930 performance figures are 0-100kph in 5.4 secs and a top speed near 260kph. The Kremer figures are not currently available, but quick!
