Delivered new by Suttons Motors (Homebush) Pty Ltd of Homebush Sydney on the 27th of April 1979.
Presenting in Silver with Blue interior trim.
This vehicle comes with it’s original books showing the first owner and early servicing by the delivering dealer.
It appears to have come into South Australian ownership around 2017 and is now sadly presented to us as part of a deceased estate.
Powered by a 308ci (5.0Lt) V8 engine, in it’s original specification it produced 161Kw and 400Nm of power and torque, delivered to the rear wheels via a 3 speed auto transmission. Performance figures suggested at the time of release 0-100kph in 11.3 secs and a top speed near 175kph.
However, this example has a replacement 308ci (5.0Lt) period correct engine and we have updated dyno reports from muscle car specialists in Adelaide, Paul Pavlou Motors of Hindmarsh showing 170.9Kw, after engine improvements completed by AJF Motors of Croydon SA in November 2018. Naturally, we would expect the above performance figures to be slightly improved, owing to the replacement engine and work completed including head and cam changes.
This vehicle presents well for it’s age and also sports period correct after market Street Pro chrome rims and a modified exhaust system.
