A matching numbers car which has undergone a Kremer Flat Nose conversion improving engine performance and altering body styling.
Based in Cologne, Germany, brothers Erwin and Manfred Kremer applied their love and knowledge of motor sports to establish a racing team and garage focused on preparing Porsches for competition. Founded in 1962, Kremer Racing would go on to play an integral role in Porsche’s triumphant motor sport’s history—both independently and on occasion, as a factory-backed team. Success with the 934 and 935 race cars attracted a lot of customer interest in a road going version, hence the 930 was created and the Kremer Brothers continued with further developments.
Based on the standard 930 3.3 Litre engine producing 220Kw and 432Nm of power and torque, the Kremer upgrades included uprated intercooler, turbocharger and camshafts to further enhance performance. Additional features include the legendary adjustable boost valve/tap on the dash and boost gauge on the dash in place of the clock. Standard 930 performance figures are 0-100kph in 5.4 secs and a top speed near 260kph. The Kremer official figures are not currently available but a neck brace is recommended when using full throttle.
The interior trim has been further enhanced from original with Gembala instruments and cream coloured full leather trim. Together with the new Guards Red paintwork, it makes a stunning presentation, only out done by its amazing performance on the road.
