1976 PORSCHE 930 TURBO COUPE – MANUAL
Presenting in Silver metallic with Black leather interior trim.
Delivered new by Scuderia Veloce Motors Pty Ltd of 283 Pacific Highway Lindfield Sydney on the 8th of June 1976.
During it’s history it has had regular serving by Porsche dealerships in Sydney and Melbourne.
This amazing 930 comes with it’s original books and service history. Just serviced by Porsche specialists of Marleston SA, Rennen Motorsport, so it is right up to date for the next owner.
Powered by a 3.0 Litre air cooled turbo 6 cylinder engine, it produced when new 174.5Kw and 332Nm of power and torque, delivered to the rear wheels via a 4 speed manual gearbox. Performance figures suggested at the time, 0-100kph in 6.0 secs and a top speed near 245kph.

The current owners have provided the following information on where the car now stands:-
“An Australian delivered 1976 930 Turbo, Number Matching with original books and a detailed history file. It was delivered new to Scuderia Veloce Motors Porsche dealership in NSW, 1of 14 cars built for the 1976 year.
It has a great combination of options includes
– silver metallic paint
– red blue tartan seats inlays on black leather
– 15 inch wheels
– air con
– electric sunroof
At present the car is owned by a Porsche mechanic who has embarked on a journey to turn this car into one of the finest in the country.
Here is the list of work carried out over its last few years of restoration, totally standard build spec as it was when it left the factory:
1, Engine was built by Spencer Harrison with new oil pump, Mahle pistons and cylinders, bottom end bearings, timing gears, overhauled turbo charger and alternator etc
2, Gearbox was rebuilt with a genuine new crown wheel and pinion, various new gear sets, new bearings and syncros were fitted as necessary.
3, Body and running gear restoration were carried out by Kane Hearn which including:
– A bare metal repaint
– All bright work are re anodised
– All body seals, rubbers, spoilers etc are replaced with new genuine parts
– All new genuine light lenses and reflectors etc
– New genuine horns
– New genuine washer bottle with all pluming and new pump
– New genuine head lamp washers
– New genuine deck lid grills
– New air conditioning hoses and receiver dryer
– Upgraded air compressor
– New flywheel and clutch
– New clutch cable
– All new fuel pipes and hoses through out car
– All new brakes, calliper kits, master cylinder, flexible hoses, brake rotors, brake pads and hand brake cables
– All pedal bushes, tunnel bushes and gear shift bushes are replaced
– New genuine speedometer sensor and fuel level sender
– Fuel tank was cleaned out and recoated
– Suspension bushes are all replaced
– All new Lemforder ball joints and tie rod assemblies
– Steering rack was rebuilt with new bearings and correct grease
– Wheels are matching to the car, they have been re anodised and painted as new
– New tyres, new wheel nuts and new center caps
– New speakers and a period correct Nakamichi 6 stacker head unit
– New hood lining, door brakes, sunroof seals and the list goes on
