1975 MGBGT V8
This is a rare and genuine factory MGBGTV8 which has undergone a complete restoration by one of Adelaide’s leading MG workshops.
We hold a Heritage Certificate which tells us that the car was built between 20th of May & 3rd of June 1975, dispatched to the dealer (Stewart and Arden of Barnes, London) on the 6th of June 1975 and was Glacier White with Autumn Leaf trim.
The owner who funded the restoration has chosen to alter the car slightly, now presenting in bright red with black trim. The wheels are his choice too, from an MGRV8 and finally a different 3.5 Lt V8 Rover engine than the original, which has been completely rebuilt, balanced and with a mild camshaft fitted by A.A. Automotive of Adelaide, who completed the whole restoration on behalf of the owner.
Whilst the original 3.5Lt Rover V8 engine was rated at 102Kw and 262Nm of power and torque, driving through a 4 speed manual gearbox with overdrive on 3rd and 4th gears, it gave figures of 0-100kph in 7.9 secs and a top near 200kph. With the modifications that have been done to this engine, it will achieve better figures.
Here is a rather rare and classic MG that will out perform lots of other classic cars on the road.
The level of finish on this example is very fine and will give the next owner lots of pleasure to own and enjoy driving.
