1975 HOLDEN TX GEMINI
A very original and rare find these days in Purple with beige interior trim.
This car has had two owners, the first owner was a lady who purchased the car from Smith’s Motors Holden of Port Adelaide in 1975. It was her favourite colour and the car had to be sourced from a Sydney dealer to satisfy her need.
We hold the original handbook and purchase invoice as well as quite a few early documents relating to its on going care.
She owned the car until 2019, when due to failing eyesight, it prevented her using the car any longer and sold it to the present owner.
Powered by a 1.6 Litre 4 cylinder engine, it produced 56Kw and 114Nm of power and torque, delivered to the rear wheels via a 4 speed manual gearbox. Performance was gentle at 0-100kph in 15.4 secs and a top speed near 145kph.
A delightful and very original Australian classic car, which will turn heads wherever you drive it.
Eligible for Historic registration in most jurisdictions, this makes on road costs minimal.
