1972 PORSCHE 911E TARGA – LHD
This lovely 911 Targa presents in Silver Metallic paintwork with complimentary black leatherette interior trim.
An original LHD car, it has been the subject of a total restoration in recent years and we have photos of the restoration to support its current status. A matching numbers car with NineAuto completing the engine work, body work by Skunk Werks, both of Melbourne.
1972 build cars are unique in one way and that is, it was only year to feature an external oil filler.
Powered by a 2.4 Litre 6 cylinder air cooled engine, it produced when new 123Kw and 206Nm of power and torque, delivered to the rear wheels via a 5 speed manual gearbox. Performance was quoted at 0-100kph in 7.9 secs and a top speed 220kph. Excellent performance figures for the early 70’s and still respectable today.
