Delivered new in Adelaide by Carl Drummond Motors on the 6th of February 1973.

Here is an amazing survivor in very good original condition.
The earlier 504’s with single trapezoid headlights are the most collectable.
Thousands of this model were built via CKD in Africa as well as many more in Peugeot’s factories in Europe.
Most of it’s Australian delivered cousins have ended up in parts shipped to Africa to keep the ageing 504 taxi fleet going.
Talking of Africa, reason for so many 504 taxis sold there, was their amazing suspension and the fact that they could cope with just about anything.
Peugeot really made a name for themselves in Australia when the 203 won the first Redex Round Australia Trial in the early 50’s.
So here is a later model, extremely well built like the 203 and ready for our wonderful roads and air conditioned as well.
A perfect classic car. Eminently eligible for Historic registration in most states.
