1971 VOLKSWAGEN MICROBUS SAMBA WAGON – MANUAL

This magnificent example was built in Brazil in 1971, as German production had ceased in 1967.

Presenting in Orange Red and Chocolate Brown with Beige interior trim and curtains.

On the roof rack is a surfboard which is offered with the sale, as is a collection of Kombi models in the passenger compartment.

The roof also features a Webasto style folding sunroof which offers another way of enjoying this amazing presentation.

We hold a file of paperwork relating to it’s current registration in South Australia. The current SA registration plates may be available if sold in SA.

We also hold evidence of the Australian Government Vehicle Import Approval number ADDEND80382 and dated the 7th of January 2021.

The current owner’s words will help explain it’s current condition:-

“This stunning 1971 23-window Kombi, originally imported from Brazil and purchased in Queensland, is a true showstopper with its eye-
catching orange-red and chocolate brown colour scheme, which remains in its original colour paint.

Powered by a brand-new (S41)1835cc four cylinder engine rated at 120bhp (89.4Kw), delivered to the rear wheels via a 4 speed manual
gearbox.

With just 2,000kms on the clock, it’s a true example of a lovingly restored classic.

The gearbox has been fully rebuilt, and the front tyres have been upgraded with disc brakes for enhanced performance.

Inside, you’ll find a host of thoughtful upgrades, including a custom sound system with radio and speakers, new curtains, a stylish wood
steering wheel, and a built-in wood shelf with LED lights to display mini Kombi models. The car also boasts a dual battery setup, one for
accessories like the fridge, and one for the vehicle itself.

The exterior shines with restored badges, a new chrome bar on the rear window, and two brand new aluminium roof racks. Additional
details like a new aluminium step at the barn doors and custom cup holders and USB ports add to the practical charm. This Kombi
doesn’t just turn heads—it wins awards, drawing admiration from all angles wherever it goes. A perfect blend of vintage style and
modern upgrades, it’s a true collector’s dream.”

This vehicle as the owner says, makes quite a statement and would be a perfect promotional vehicle for your business, or just a vehicle to enjoy classic car events, show and shines or just a cruise to your favourite beach and maybe a swim, surf or picnic.

Eligible for Historic registration in most jurisdictions, this equates to minimal on road costs.
