1968 TRIUMPH TR5 ROADSTER WITH OVERDRIVE
This beautiful roadster was styled by the Italian vehicle designer Giovanni Michelotti, wearing a very similar look of the TR4A, but now with a powerful 2.5 litre straight 6-cylinder fuel injected engine producing 150bhp (110kw).
The sales brochure of the day claimed it to be ” the first British production sports car with petrol injection”
The result is a very lively sportscar with all the best options of the time, chrome wire wheels, overdrive and a tonneau cover, making it the best of British classic motoring.
Built between August 1967 and September 1968, it is the smallest production model in TR history with only 2947 RHD units made, this is one of the prettiest and certainly most collectable TRs.
We are very proud to offer this example and we know the next owner will feel the same pride of ownership.
Now on display in our new showroom.
We can arrange transport door to door Australia-wide.
