1964 MGB MK 1 ROADSTER
This early Mk1 matching numbers roadster has been sympathetically and tastefully modified to represent the very successful factory sponsored cars of the early sixties.
Paddy Hopkirk and Timo Makinen would approve.
The 3 bearing crankshaft model has a nitrited crankshaft, head, valve and camshaft modifications matching ” fast road” specs and also includes a twin choke sidedraft weber in lieu of the standard twin SU’s.
Engine modifications are complimented by an updated alternator, exhaust extractors and twin thermo fans.
Together with the engine modifications, the body and trim have been restored to give an excellent example of what the factory sponsored cars were like.
You have a choice of four driving styles, classic hood off open roadster, half tonneau cover, soft top on and hard top with roof vent.
Altogether, a very classy and correct factory race or rally car and fit for road use too.
We can arrange transport door to door Australia wide.
