This lovely Mustang presents in Poppy Red with Off White interior trim.
An award winning example which took out a silver trophy at the 2015 Mustang Nationals held at Glenelg, a beachside suburb of Adelaide.
The current owner of the car was responsible for the present condition of the car, we hold some information on it’s restoration.
We hold evidence of the Federal Government’s Import Approval # 82473/22 and dated the 15th of December 2011.
Some early information tells us the car was a one owner sold new in Los Angeles until exported in 2012. The current South Australian owner has owned the car since importation. He embarked on the restoration which was completed over a two year period by Rodney Plowman Restorations in Lonsdale, south of Adelaide. Once completed, he enjoyed classic events, show and shines and classic cruises.
Just recently serviced at Dream Works, a respected classic and muscle car specialist of Marleston Adelaide on the 16th of June 2026 at 232 miles, so it is right up to date for the next owner.
Powered by a 4.3Lt (260ci) V8 engine, it produced when new 122Kw and 350Nm of power and torque, delivered to the rear wheels via a 3 speed Cruise-O-Matic auto transmission. Performance at the time of release suggested 0-100kph in 10.8 secs and a top speed near 180kph.

This example has been on historic registration in South Australia, but wasn’t renewed several years ago owing to the owner’s health condition. However, it would be eligible for similar schemes in other jurisdictions, this equates to minimal on road costs.
