1963 MGB Mk1 ROADSTER

Tartan Red with black trim and chrome wire wheels.

One of the all time classics, the MGB was the biggest selling sports car in history until Mazda copied the idea and produced the MX5/Miata. Hugely popular during the 60’s and 70’s as an affordable sports car to enjoy with top up or down, this example has survived those times and is still affordable and enjoyable to drive.

A large file attesting to all the work that has been completed over several years is available. This car is a credit to its present owner and would be perfect for the next owner to enjoy the coming summer days and nights.

Powered by a 1.8 Litre 4 cylinder engine and driving through a four speed manual gearbox, it sounds great and has plenty of current day performance. In it’s day, the performance was quoted at 70Kw and 145Nm of power and torque, giving figures of 0-100kph in 11.8 secs and a top speed just over 161kph.

This car is eligible for Historic registration in South Australia and similar schemes interstate, so on road costs are minimal.
