1962 MGA 1600 Mk2 ROADSTER – 29,479 MILES SHOWING
Here is a great example of the last of the MGA’s, the 1600 Mk2 in British Racing Green with complimentary Tan interior trim.
Released just before the new MGB was put on the world market, so quite a rare model.
The subject of a complete restoration by one of Adelaide’s leading MG specialists back in 1999, photos and documents held attest to the work completed.
Powered by a 1.6Lt (1622cc) 4 cylinder engine, it produced when new 69Kw and 132Nm of torque, delivered to the rear wheels via 4 speed manual gearbox. Performance claimed at the time was 0-100kph in 13.9 secs and a top speed near 163kph.
The value of all English sportscars is on the rise and this particular model, being rarer than the early MGAs, is no exception.
It comes with a soft top and also a full tonneau cover, which allows both types of driving depending on the weather.
Currently historically registered in South Australia, this is not transferable, however this car would be eligible for similar schemes in other jurisdictions, which equates to minimal on road costs.
The SA plates are available to a new owner, if sold within South Australia.
Available to admire on our state of the art showroom floor in Adelaide.
We can arrange transport door to door Australia wide.
Finance – our broker offers VERY competitive rates and prompt service.
We welcome the opportunity to consider your trade in.
