1962 ELFIN MALLALA/300 TRIBUTE – MANUAL – 56,786 MILES SHOWING

This road registered race car is a tribute to the Elfin Mallala and Elfin 300 race cars built in Adelaide in the 1960’s by Gary Cooper.

We understand from the present owner it was constructed in the 1970’s featuring an Elfin Mallala style nose panel, Elfin 300 style rear section, Holden 138 6 cylinder engine with triple Weber carburettors and VW barrel gearbox with FV type rear suspension.

Front suspension is VW with Spax shocks and featuring four wheel disc brakes.

We have no performance details for this car, however the author of these words has had a brief drive of the car and it has plenty of performance to excite.

It has been previously Historically registered in South Australia and could well be eligible for similar schemes in other jurisdictions, equating to minimal on road costs.

It was built to perform and has been used for the Lobethal GP celebration and track events at Mallala, both held by the Sporting Car Club of SA.

This car would be an ideal historic competition car for someone who wants to enjoy those events and is willing to fettle and improve the car along the way.

Available to inspect on our state of the art showroom floor in Adelaide.

We can arrange transport door to door Australia wide.

Finance – our broker offers VERY competitive rates and prompt service.

We welcome the opportunity to consider your trade in.
