1958 TRIUMPH TR3A ROADSTER AUSTRALIAN DELIVERY
The TR3A was an updated model from the TR3 but still wore the TR3 badge. The sloping doors add to its stylish appearance.
Featuring a wider “smiling” grill, exterior door handles, a lockable boot and a tool kit (optional on the TR3), these improvements made the TR3A the third most popular TR model after the 6 & 7. Powered by a two litre four-cylinder engine producing 100bhp / 74Kw, it drives through a 4 speed manual gearbox with overdrive on 3rd and 4th.
This example is a matching numbers car built according to the Heritage Certificate on the 19th of February 1958 and dispatched to Australia.
Superbly finished in red duco and new upolstery, this example drives impressively – new suspension bushes, new tyres on freshly painted wires and new chrome spinners just fitted.
The TR3A makes a perfect summer cruiser in the best sense of the word with classic style, sound and wind in-the-hair motoring.
Currently historically registered in SA.
