1958 JAGUAR MK1 3.4 LITRE - MANUAL - 95,332 MILES SHOWING
Presenting in British Racing Green with green leather interior trim.
A great deal of attention and expense has been spent on this car in recent years by it's present owner with Price Alexander Motors in Adelaide. Documents are held to support this work.
As a direct result, this car presents very well and it is a pleasure to drive.
A true classic English sports sedan and quite rare in Mk 1 form.
Powered by a none matching number, but period correct Jaguar 3.4 Litre 6 cylinder engine, it was claimed to produce when new 156Kw and 293Nm of power and torque, delivered to the rear wheels via a 4 speed manual gearbox together with overdrive. Performance would be in the region of 0-100kph in just under 10 secs and a top speed near 195kph.
Another slight variation with this car is the rear end, taken from a Mk2 Jaguar, thereby giving it a slightly wider and more attractive rear look.
The interior trim looks original and shows signs of wear and patina over some 60 years of use. A car that the next owner will enjoy continuing to fettle to carefully maintain it's period appeal.
This car would make a perfect classic car to enjoy for club runs, events and shows, being a manual with overdrive, bucket seats and chrome wire wheels.
Eminently eligible for Historic registration in most jurisdictions, that equates to minimal on road costs.
