1951 BENTLEY MARK Vl STANDARD SALOON 4.25 LITRE MANUAL

This 1951 Bentley MK Vl Saloon was originally purchased by prominent Australian businessman Malcolm Reid. It was London delivered and used for Continental touring in the summer months, was shipped to Melbourne through Kellow Faulkner (the agents) and sent to Mr Reid’s son in the Western districts of Victoria. In the late 1960’s it arrived in Adelaide. This car is in amazing condition with all its original tools , instruction manual, working HMV Radio-mobile valve radio, rear picnic table and receipts for the last 35 years. The paintwork is beautiful, the mostly original leather trim is immaculate, the timber is stunning, the chrome is excellent and under the bonnet is detailed as it should be. This model has a 4.25 litre 6 cylinder engine with the famous “trouser leg” RH manual gear-change. This car has belonged to very enthusiastic past owners who have rebuilt the cylinder head, carburettors, front suspension, brakes, exhaust etc. etc. Everything works, including the Bijur chassis lubrication system, clock and rear blind. This car drives superbly. If you are looking for an excellent well maintained MK Vl Bentley, here is a lovely example to consider.
