1950 HOLDEN 48-215
Australia’s first production Holden began production in 1948.
The first car to come off the line for retail delivery was painted Gawler yellow. Coincidentally, so is this one with its contrasting red interior.
Little wonder the 48-215 was a favourite car to hot-up and race as it only weighed 1,010kg.
This is a superbly restored example with superb coachwork which is a pleasure to both the eye and the touch.
