1979 PORSCHE 911SC COUPE
This original right hand drive example has been modified to be a competition car which is road registered, so you can drive it to a Hill Climb or a Race Track, enjoy some fun on track and then drive it home.
The car was originally rebuilt from the ground up by Chris Tzanis of Weissach Sport, a highly regarded Porsche specialist in Melbourne, for participation in Porsche Car Club of Victoria C Class competition.
The car has won PCV C Class in the past and has always been meticulously maintained by Weissach Sport.
The engine and gearbox were completely rebuilt by Weissach Sport in 2014 at a considerable cost, with all worn parts replaced. The car has seen limited track time since then.
In mid-2018 the current owner had Weissach Sport overhaul the engine and among other things, new Mahle barrels and pistons where fitted. Since that rebuild, the car has travelled less than 200 kms, with no competition use.
Altogether, a very drivable Porsche 911 which can be enjoyed on the road and also on the track.
