1978 ROLLS ROYCE SILVER SHADOW ll
Purchased new from Kellow Falkiner in Melbourne, finished in Honey metallic with beige leather, headlining in beige Ambla with Cumberland stone carpets, this is a superb example of a carefully-kept original Shadow ll. The first owner (Melbourne Doctor) had the car for over twenty years as recorded in the original service books. This car has all the original books and wallet.
The Shadow ll features rack and pinion steering which transformed the handling making the car a quick point-to-point luxury sedan. Powered by a 141 kW 6.75 litre V8 and coupled to a General Motors-sourced Turbo Hydramatic 400 automatic gearbox, this is a very smooth riding car with self-levelling suspension which has “anti-dive” under braking – this is a marvellous feature when experienced.
We have owned this Shadow ll for several years and it has been serviced by our Rolls Royce trained mechanic. Many a customer has enjoyed the pleasure of being collected from the airport in Honey.
