1929 MERCEDES SSK ROADSTER REPLICA
The Mercedes SSK roadster was the last car designed for Mercedes-Benz by Ferdinand Porsche before he left to found his own company. With that amazing heritage, it is no wonder that the SSK which stands for "Super Sport Kurz" or Super Sport Short, was designed for extreme performance and enjoyed numerous competitive successes and hence became one of the most highly regarded sports cars of its era.
Originally powered by a monstrous 7 Litre super charged six cylinder engine, it was capable of a very high speed for it's time and won many races including the 1931 Argentine Grand Prix, 1930 Irish Grand Prix, 1931 German Grand Prix and the 1931 Mille Miglia.
If you want one of these very rare machines, be prepared for a long and expensive search, as only 40 SSK's were made and the very few survivors sell for millions!
Instead we are proud to offer a 1985 built replica of this famous car that will give you lots of pleasure to own and be much easier on the purse. Powered by a Ford 2lt engine and running through an automatic gearbox, this vehicle has all the style of yesteryear but with the economy and reliability of a modern car.
